Innovation Marketplace 2021/2022

What

This year’s Innovation Marketplace is hosted by Vaude. Vaude is a german outdoor sports brand located at the feet of the Alps. With headquarter in the middle of nature, they have justy a few steps to go and test their gear in the outdoors. The headquarters are climate neutral and have a company restaurants serving certified organic food. The testing lab is optimized to study hiking and biking activities.

Vaude will introduce a design challenge to be tackled in groups. Each group will undertake a user focussed design study on the innovation focus. Students will be guided through this process by academics from the partner institutions over a 10 week period. At the end of the 10 weeks students pitch their ideas to Vaude and the other course participants who vote on their favorite solution.

The students that produce the favourite solutions will then be invited to visit the Vaude headquarters in Germany to tour the facilities, and present their innovations in full.

When

The Innovation Marketplace will run between the 6th of October and the 15th of December. 2021.

There will also be a final session that will be help between the 8th and 10th of February 2022. This will be at Vaude in Germany.

Who can apply?

The Innovation Marketplace is open to Masters and final year undergraduate students at any of the A4SEE partner institutions
