Innovation Marketplace in Vienna, 6th February to 8th February

As the culmination of the A4SEE’s second Innovation Marketplace, students, industry and academics visited the University of Applied Sciences, Technikum Wien. Amazingly, the gathering was the first Innovation Marketplace finalé conducted ‘in-person’. The event included tours of the fantastic facilities in Vienna, a group exhibition in which each group presented their ideas to an audience of academic and industry representatives, and a final prize-giving.

This Innovation Marketplace was in collaboration with our industry partner Labosport. Each group had set out to refine one of Labosport’s existing test methods, to increase automation or examine a different area of performance which cannot currently be assessed.

After each group had presented their idea and showcased a solution a large judging panel concluded that one of the group’s from Technikum Wien was the overall winner! See the descriptions of each group’s work to see their innovative solution.

This trip was a fantastic opportunity for groups to showcase the result of all their hardwork and receive feedback from many different experts. We’ll include details of each group and the work they produced in a future post!
