Motek is the global leader in virtual reality and robotics research and rehabilitation, combining almost 20 years of experience in high-level technologies. Motek excels in building the most versatile devices, integrating latest technologies and ensuring real-time data quality and synchronization. It has developed integrated virtual reality environments that combine motion platforms, dual‐belt instrumented treadmills, motion‐capture systems and surround sound.

Motek systems are used for research and clinical treatment of patients suffering balance and locomotion disorders due to neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal disorders, or because of natural aging.

The D-Flow software enables customers to design their own applications with minimal programming skills, therefore extending the possible use to other areas such as sports and psychology. D-Flow also includes the biomechanical Human Body Model (HBM), which allows for real-time analysis of kinematics and kinetics of gait, combined with an estimation and visualization on muscular activity.

Sports Engineering Competences

We are specialized in human performance measurements, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and virtual reality. Most employees have a background in physiotherapy, human movement science, and/or biomechanical engineering. Multiple employees have a PhD, showing our competence also on the academic side.

Our demoroom is equipped with a GRAIL system, which can also be used for research purposes.
